The Noor Al Hussein Foundation has
established a Quality of Life Project at Mukheibeh village, which
includes a basket weaving and furniture production center as well as bee-keeping, citrus
fruit cultivation and organic soil production projects. |

Queen Noor opened Jordan River Designs' (JRD) annual fall
exhibition entitled "Khawater" ("Thoughts") at JRD's showroom located
in a renovated 1930's stone house in Amman. |

Jordan River Design, which was established by the Save the
Children Fund in cooperation with the Noor Al Hussein Foundation in
1987, was transferred to the Jordan River for Development Projects (JRDP), a
non-profit volunteer organization under the presidency of HM Queen Rania Abdullah
(standing next to Queen Noor and wearing a navy blue suit). Queen Rania is
married to King Abdullah II of Jordan. |
